About Me

My name is Boukje and I am a singing teacher at VoiceLab Den Haag. In 2019, I completed my Master in classical singing at the Royal Conservatoire in Den Haag. In my lessons, I always try to give the student personal input on how he or she can solve a problem in singing. I teach according to the VoiceConstruction® method. In this, you learn how to prepare your body for singing. Additionally, I have knowledge of the classical bel canto method and I am affiliated with the Association of Singing Teachers to always apply new insights.

Who are the singing lessons for?

You can take both group singing lessons and private lessons at Voicelab Den Haag. There are different groups for beginners and advanced students. In the individual intro session, you will determine with the teacher what suits you best.

Voicelab Den Haag offers singing lessons for adults. There are group lessons and individual singing lessons for both beginners and advanced students.

  • Group lessons: € 139 per month for 1 hour of group lesson per week
  • Private lessons once a week for 45 minutes: € 240 per month.
  • Private lessons every other week for 45 minutes: € 120 per month.

Prices include VAT. Payment is via direct debit. You pay the monthly amount for 11 months a year, from September to July. There are no lessons during school holidays. A one-month notice period applies.

The lessons take place in the building “In Het Koorenhuis”, Prinsegracht 27 The Hague. It is a 2-minute walk from the Grote Markt in The Hague. It is easily accessible by public transport (tram 6-4-2-3 and bus 25). There are paid parking spaces in the garages in the center.

You can attend group lessons from Monday to Thursday evening. You choose a fixed lesson time. The time for private lessons is arranged in consultation with the teacher. In the evenings, there is limited availability for private lessons.

Before you start the lessons, you can schedule an individual introductory session with the teacher. This costs €15 and you are not committed to anything. To see if what you are looking for matches what Voicelab The Hague offers, you can schedule a free phone appointment with the teacher.
